It’s a family affair here at French and Westcott!
Ryan established the business in 2013 offering high end joinery and furniture making. Since then, he has become more specialised and invested in dedicated tooling to make fine-quality timber windows and doors. Ryan’s a product designer by training and has worked with wood for the last 10 years. He has an aesthetic eye and is uncompromising in his pursuit of quality.
Ryan’s brother Richard joined him in 2015. He mans the machines, runs our in-house spray painting booth, and ensures the smooth operating of the workshops.
I’m Ryan’s wife, Sophie, so I’ve always been involved in the business but have only recently dedicated all my time to French and Westcott.
If you call, I’ll be the one to answer you. I look after our clients, plan the projects and keep the boys in check!
Our workshops are near Canterbury in Kent.
We use a combination of specialist modern machinery and good old fashioned hand tools. We recently added a dedicated spray booth to our workshops so we can do all our painting in house and control the quality of the finish.
